The Epic Gamer Blanket is finished! Hooray!
After much debate on how to connect the squares, I decided on doing two rows of double crochet between each of them and around the outside, making for a nice outline that doesn’t take away from the designs, while separating them enough to keep all the random colors from meshing together.
I’m really happy with the way it turned out. While making it I was really careful to hide all the tails of the yarn during color changes, so now its pretty much reversible. Some of the logos are backwards, and there is a slight difference in texture, but hey, no ugly strings marking the back!

That looks like a lot of work. It turned out very nice.
