Helping Out Kids in Need

Like many of you, I spend a lot of time making beanies for cancer patients, blankets for babies, and other odds and ends to donate to the local hospital.

My sister was really sick as a baby and spent a lot of time in there, and now that she is healthy I feel the need to give back and try to help out those who weren’t as lucky.

One of the volunteer organizations at the hospital were I donate all of my knitted and crocheted goods is running for a grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project. In oder to receive this money, which will help purchase almost 1500 Josh dogs and books, they need to win a nation wide popularity contest. We could really use your help to do this.
